Ingenuity took part in Davao City's first-ever IT-BPM Awards Night for Innovation Summit 2022 held on Thursday, 10th November 2022 at the Acacia Hotel.
Innovation is a key driver of business growth and economic sustainability. The yearly Innovation Summit brings together state and industry leaders, entrepreneurs, service providers, and consumers of next-generation emerging technologies. This event has established itself as a major international forum for benchmarking and investment opportunities.
This year, the said event gathered more than 400 sectoral delegates across the country as well as international representatives from the BIMP EAGA who came together to share ideas on disruptive and emerging technologies, innovation in outsourcing, Q-commerce and startups, and sustainable and green IT.
One of the speakers was our very own Ingenuity Founder John Naranjo who delivered a talk on “Outsourcing Innovation,” inspiring the audience to take on the challenge of being digital leaders in their respective fields.
Under the theme "Smart Sourcing in the Global Marketplace," this year's Innovation Summit presented by the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ICT Davao, Inc. recognized Davao-based homegrown businesses in the IT-BPM industry that have demonstrated the most outstanding commitment to innovation and excellence, key elements in the development of a sustainable IT ecosystem in Davao City.
Ingenuity is honored to be awarded 5 out of 7 major awards in the MSME category, namely:
- Madayaw Award — Best Company to Work For - WINNER
- Best Corporate Social Responsibility - WINNER
- Best Community Impact - WINNER
- Most Innovative Company (Post-COVID Response) - FINALIST
- Best in Employee Engagement - FINALIST
The event marked the culmination of years' worth of dedication and hard work by the Ingenuity team as evidenced by their various milestones — SafeDavaoQR, Pahalipay, and Hackademy to name some — all three successful initiatives. It also serves as recognition of the company’s vision to be a key player in transforming Davao City into a premier ICT industry global hub.
